This is a big moment.
One of the OTHER huge inspirations for the WLBT was a trip I took, many years ago, with my ex. We flew into Great Falls, rented a minivan where you could fold down all the seats in the back, bought an inflatable mattress at Walmart, and just started driving around. No real agenda or plan; we ended up driving through Glacier National Park and then into Idaho, down to Yellowstone, and generally just did a small version of what I'm doing now. Even during the dark days, I remembered that trip- and Montana- with a great deal of fondness, and I had been looking forward to seeing it again for decades.
So, you know, yeah! I had to stop and take a picture with the sign. Even though Montana looks exactly like North Dakota until halfway through, where it suddenly and spectacularly doesn't.
